Summit Aims
Within the complex events industry, the 2nd Asia Pacific Summit for Event Leaders will provide a forum to:
• Share and discuss contemporary issues facing and shaping the future of responsible events in Asia Pacific.
• Enable delegates to network and establish academic, industry and governmental collaborations of mutual interest and benefit. For example, international capacity-building projects, international cultural exchanges, international research programs, and faculty and student mobility schemes.
• Enhance the curriculum of events management study programs so that they continue to reflect current and future industry trends in responsible events management.
• Explore how Bali, has implemented strategies to position itself as one of the leading responsible events destinations in S.E. Asia.

Who Should Participate
• Senior academic leaders and faculty lecturers directly involved in the management and delivery of events programmes at Asia Pacific universities, polytechnics, and colleges.
• Senior events management leaders and professionals who work for public and private sector organisations that are involved with the organisation, staging, management, and development of the Asia Pacific events industry.
Summit Venue
This is an in-person Summit that will be held at the campus of Politeknik Pariwisata Bali (the Bali Tourism Polytechnic), with overnight accommodation being provided at the Kamala Bali Resort Hotel. Kamala Bali Resort provides accommodation with an outdoor infinity swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a restaurant. This 4-star hotel offers a 24-hour front desk and a concierge service. Guests can make use of a bar. At the hotel every room comes with air conditioning, a desk, a flat-screen TV, a private bathroom, bed linen, towels and a terrace with a city view. Every room has a safety deposit box, while some rooms here will provide you with a patio and others also provide guests with sea views.

The Asia Pacific Institute for Events Management (APIEM) is organising the Summit in partnership with the D4 Convention and Events Management Study Program of Politeknik Pariwisata Bali (PPB). APIEM is Asia Pacific`s #1 Professional Institute for Events Education and offers a variety of services including the organization of conferences and meetings. PPB has been accredited as an APIEM 4* International Centre of Excellence for its program in Convention and Events Management, and is one of the leading providers of events, hospitality, and tourism education in Indonesia.
